The Living Daylights is the first Bond I ever saw. I must have been about seven when I watched it on TV (in black and white). I remember thinking the A-ha theme was pretty cool, and also totally fancying the Soviet chick (who was actually born in the UK to Georgian-Dutch parents).

Actually, when she said "centre" my first thought was centre midfield and then centre back. Centre forward as a term doesn't seem to be used as much as it was ten-twenty years ago. Even though nobody would dare attest it was a technical term, "up front" seems to have largely replaced it. As in "Who's playing up front?"

The most jarring bit of writing was when the girl told Watson that she played "center". There's no such position as center, let alone it being recognisable as being in the "heart of the offence".

Certainly wouldn't have been the World Cup, hockey would be more likely. Sportcentre anchors are horrid at pronunciation  You'd think they'd have a member of staff to write down the correct pronunciation in the teleprompter or something. I heard them absolutely butcher "CSKA" the other week, not realising it was an
