One of the things I like about this show is that I'm rooting for numerous characters who aren't necessarily on the same side. Thats why I'm not crazy about Tyrion going to Dany. Before we had Robb, Tyrion, Dany, Davos/Stannis all opposing each other, so for me at least my loyalties were divided and who I was rooting

If Mance and the wildlings had stayed on the other side of the wall, Stannis wouldn't have cared about them. They invaded because they needed to hide behind the wall but living in Westers means being subject to its laws. Stannis was offering to make them citizens but accepting those terms would have meant living on

You can't call yourself a knight unless someone knights you and Brienne has never been knighted.

From what I understand the reason why Netflix shows still adhere to typical episodic structure is because in other countries they often air on tv just like normal shows.

-Didn't Lip insult his old recruiter for not "fucking in his own age bracket"? Didn't he give Ian shit for his relationship with a married man and now he's basically doing the same thing? Granted in this case its legal and the spouse knows but I don't buy that hes suddenly dumb enough to think this can work. (I can't

I think any show as heavily built on mysteries as Lost was will garner that sort of reaction from people. Because its not until you get to the finish line and all of the answers are revealed that you can really put all of the story elements into context and understand what the show is. Is it science fiction? Fantasy?

-Why doesn't Lucious just name Hakeem his heir and be done with it? He clearly favors him and has basically told Jamal and Andre that hes never giving the Empire to them.

I agree. I think Angel season 5 stands alone as a good season of television but it feels like a completely different show. The biggest issue to me is that the guys who really made the show in my opinion, Tim Minear and David Greenwalt were gone and with them the distinct voice they brought to the show. Yeah they were

Jamal and Hakeem may be competing but if they each want to lead Empire one day they wouldn't do anything to seriously hurt its future. So if Lucious thinks them presenting the idea of family to the investors will help the company, it makes sense that they'd put their beef on hold, at least for now.

I don't think season 4's superiority has anything to do with it's "grittiness" and everything to do with how much more focused each character's story arc felt and how much better it felt like the writer's had plotted everything out.

I heard the writers say that they wanted to show that worship of the Lord of Light went beyond Melisandre and Stannis. Plus if you know who ends up being resurrected by Melisandre than the show will already have used Beric to demonstrate that such a thing is possible.

A show thats already this expensive can only handle so many actors. The roles of Aegon and Stoneheart will likely be given to other characters such as Trystane and Sansa respectively.

What really got to me about the Mandy scene is just the way she says, "I love you". She needs so desperately to hear that someone else can possibly love her before she leaves her bf but Lip just can't give that to her so she takes what she sees as the safe bet by going with a guy who abuses, but "loves" her. Emma

-Prior to this episode Korrasami would have never occurred to me were it not for this site. I guess I never thought Nick would actually go there plus it struck me as odd how uncharacteristically subtle the possible romance between Korra and Asami was. The show always let you clearly know when one character was into

What stood out to me about this episode is how much it didn't really feel like a series finale to me. It works fine as a season ender but its hard for me to really consider this a good final chapter in the Avatar universe. It doesn't give me that bittersweet feeling of satisfaction that I get when I part ways with a

I love PTA's films but don't know much about him as a person. Which part of Magnolia was autobiographical?

I'm sure someone has already thrown out this theory but I'm betting Reverse-Flash is Wells from the future who decides he needs to go back in time to kill Barry's mother in order to set off the exact series of events that will lead to Barry becoming the Flash, allowing present day Wells to study his power and

Thats a good point. But zombies have long since been an acceptable genre to the public so they probably felt less of a need to rely on the characters of the show. Outside of the LoTR trilogy, epic adult fantasy hasn't had as much mainstream success, so they may have been less willing to take as many chances when

There was no way TellTale was going to pass up using the likeness and voices of the TV characters as a selling point for this game. In fact I read that they originally considered doing a game set during Robert's Rebellion but decided against it because it wouldn't have been able to include the people that fans of the
