@avclub-a6bba5fb3d3ee4e21c5ac2cbc8b94130:disqus I've read that interview before and I have a hard time believing that Chase actually thinks that. Tony killed Pussy and tried to kill his mother because they had posed very real, direct threats to him. His mother had been conspiring to kill him and the info Pussy was

I read SepinWall's book as well and I don't find that argument to be particularly strong. Whatever the show did in the past with ongoing story lines may mean  little depending on what Chase was trying to convey with the final scene. The final scene in general isn't like much else we've seen from the show. If it does

Before this season I would have disagreed, but at this point theres no way I'd want to see Carrie shoulder the show herself. They seriously need to tone down her character because the erratic behavior, the blatantly disobeying commands and getting away with it, the constant breakdowns, its just too much. Ever since I

I feel like the only reason why Brody doesn't say something more is because it would be inconvenient to the story they want to tell right now, which is Brody finding himself slowly estranged from his children. Its just like Lost where the show dragged out certain story lines by not letting characters have the logical

I actually like Hannah McKay and she has great chemistry with Dexter, but ever since the season shifted focus from Issac to her theres been a very noticeable drop in the quality of the writing.

I'm sure its already been said somewhere in the comments, but how idiotic is it for Dexter to allow Hannah McKay to be arrested at this point? He believes she is willing to kill his sister and anyone else to defend herself, but he doesn't think that maybe she'll spill her guts about his secret to possibly help her

I'm surprised they never animated the "Lost Years" comic that explains how Dick first adopted the Nightwing persona. They adapted the other stories in "Old Wounds" and "Sins of the father", but left out the Dick solo stories. It would have been nice to do a fully Dick centric episode and it could have easily replaced

What I'm talking about though is the anger certain people seem to have towards anyone who argues that Tony dying is the definitive interpretation to

I don't know, it seems that whenever it comes to people definitively stating that Tony dies theres a certain backlash that happens that you rarely see when it comes to similar critiques of other works of fiction. Whether it be old literature or more recent films people present what they feel is the definitive

@avclub-250b164d84ea39a488422da8500786e6:disqus Yeah, I absolutely agree that "Made in America" was in the works for some time and as I said in my other post that the ending in the diner was by all accounts the one Chase had been planning for years. Another poster seemed to imply that because season 6 was originally

is the end, take some time and think about what you just saw, because
everything you saw is important to the series and to what the ending is."
