"Mommy, your wi-fi sucks."   Dalia has the best lines on this show.

August 17, 1994.  It's my 23rd birthday.

Was just scrolling down to post the same thing. Pomplamoose makes original music of their own as well as covers and sold-out a recent tour of 500-seaters along the east and west coasts. I've seen them a few times in concert now— they slay it every time.  They are assuredly a real band.

I couldn't finish Tiny Furniture.  I did not give a single fuck about any of the characters. Thee wasn't anyone who I could even love to hate. I could not, and still do not, get all the praise this got.

My fave thing from ELR wasn't even on the show— it was from a "a closer look t the set decorations" article in Entertainment Weekly.  Ray described the record of the bedroom as "early American not-gettin'-any."

You totally missed one of the best parts of this show:  the walk-on music The Roots play for each guest.  Tim Tebow got Boys II Men's "On Bended Knee", CHris Hardwick got the sign the nerd perform at the talent show in Revenge of THe Nerds, Helen Mirren got THe Sex Pistols' "God Save The Queen", Snookie got The Oompa

Never, ever miss a chance to see Prince in concert. I've seem him something like 15 times, in venues big and small. Even on an off night, the man delivers.

There's not nearly enough love here for How Was Your Week.  Consistently funny and has drawn guests that are outside of the usual folks you hear on podcasts.  Get 'em next year, Mizz Klausner!

‎"A little fatty Tune, a little Yellow T, Cali roll. Samurai snack…so scrummy."

Both "Pink Lady & Jeff" & Joel Stein were part of the same week — a "the celebrity programs Trio for the week" stunt, with stein big the celebrity.  At the time, Trio was known for showcasing 'Brilliant But Cancelled" shows, Stein filled his week with a lot of terrible and cancelled like Pink LAdy & Jeff and vintage

The call back to the long missing Uter was the highlight for me.  His parents' "We just want closure!" is a popular reference around my house.

For reals.  To this day, whenever he appears on screen I say "Whoa! Robert Loggia!"

The Rest Of The Bill Story
So…flash forward two years after the end of The Real World. I'm in my last year at Antioch College. We've just got a huge wave of publicity for our Sexual Offense Policy, which dictates that students really really should ask at each step of the way or risk suspension if things don't turn

TV On The Radio dude on The Moth
An interesting story, yes — but whoa did it take a long time to get there. It was just super trying to listen to. I almost turned it off a few times, but by the time I got taht annoyed I wanted to see where the story was going.

That First Murder Scene
(not a failed firstie, really want to say something about it)

She's hot.

Fave Album: People's Instinctive Travels and the Paths of Rhythm
Fave Song: "Scenario"
Under Rated: "Ham & Eggs"

"Didn't the "Roseanne gets everything she wants" plotline turn out to be self-deluding fiction?"

ANTIOCH COLLEGE STAND UP!!!
I graduated in 94.

I used to live a few blocks from the Divisadero location — I went a few Sundays. It was outta sight, daddy-o. It now takes place at a community center in the Fillmore Jazz District: http://www.coltranechurch.org/ I jut bought a t-shirt from them at the Fillmore Jazz fest.
