@Pretty Useless
This argument is pointless. True Blood is a guilty pleasure for me, but I have no illusions of the fact that it's vampire trash. One look at the books it's based off of, and you'd see why it's not a highly respected series by critics.

@The UMD
Thanks for explaining criticism to "Pretty Useless". I watch the show because there are aspect that I like. But there's a lot of things I don't like as well.

Perhaps you missed the part where I said "*bad* fantasy book".

Ugh, I have to disagree. The whole Eric's family was killed by werewolfs and him and Godric hunted them years ago feels very forced… and a sad attempt to turn Eric against Russel.

I had to kill Bob Morton because he made a mistake.
Now it's time to erase that mistake.

@Johnny Obvious
Hmmm, how do I respond to this one?

Reviewer doesn't know what he's talking about.
I realize this is from 2007, but I wasn't reading AV Club in 2007… so I'm making up for lost time. This and Juturna are amazingly layered and thoughtful song writing at it's best. Sure Anthony Green's voice is a deal breaker for some people, but as a musician and song

I agree with the sentiment that although the last 1/2 of the season was great, the first 1/2 wasn't up to Season 1 or 2. The first of this season lost it's gritty feel, and even had a couple moments that I couldn't help rolling my eyes.

I wasn't sure if this Season would end strongly, there were points that felt like it was dragging along. But I have to say, that was a nice ending to the Season. I still say Walt doing nothing about Jane choking to death was the most powerful scene of the series… but the scenes with Mike and Walter have been

Title of the article made me laugh

Being excluded, leads to depression, leads to bizarre sexual gratification, leads to suicide.

Walt seems to be coming into his own as a drug dealer. There will definitely be some tension between him and Gus in the future… but he still needs Walt. Without Walt, the product disappears. Gus would probably agree that killing the Thomas was inappropriate, he's going to be more upset that Walt went over his head

George Carlin was the greatest angry old man that ever lived.

I'm proud of myself. The only songs I recognize are from Gorillaz, Blink-182, and Sum 41. Not listening to the radio has paid off tremendously.

I'm not ashamed to say I have the Phil Spector Christmas album on my iPod

I'm as sad as that time (whatever his name is) from Drowning Pool died.

While I admit that Walt was chasing the fly by himself was a little drawn out. Once Jesse got there, things became interesting. And to the dope that said every moment has to advance the plot forward… stop talking before you make yourself look even more foolish.

No one is arguing that Gus couldn't take Walt out at any time. But there was no reaction when he confronted Gus about sending the twinks after Hank… just respect. That's bizarre, the writers didn't think this one through.
