Squealing. Lots of squealing.

I find most of Greenwald's pieces comically overwritten. Both he and Lisanti. But Lisanti seems to be pretty self-aware about how purple he's being. Greenwald just can't seem to help himself. (And seems to be generally pretty pleased with himself.) And yet I still read them.

I took it as a reference to the partying some of them were indulging in for a while.
I've just been turning it off once the song starts. And having the lyrics on the screen isn't doing them any favors either. Otherwise, I've enjoyed each episode. All the stuff with Ian McKaye was great.

Musician most people have never heard of writes bitchy songs about leader of band most people have never heard of. World continues to spin. More news at ten.
I'm disappointed. I enjoyed spending time with many of the characters on this show, Marco, Hank, Fausto and his flunkies, and Lillard and Rios' journalists, especially. But the storytelling never seemed to gel this second season. And the early episodes felt like they were trying too hard to be "dark" and "edgy."…
I was blown away by how much both the younger Sarah and Josh resembled the older versions, and how the younger Josh captured the older's mannerisms. Well done.
That first episode played like the world's longest vasectomy ad.
"I doubled down on my need for attention by going on talk shows to discuss my need for attention."
Amos Barshad and some of the other, less-featured writers wouldn't be missed by me. They all have the same, vaguely hipster hip-hop, self-aware, "this is the way we write now, mah dude" voice. Ugh.
