The first season could be done in 3 articles: the two-parter with the reunion, the rest of the season 1, and then a separate article for Jagged Little Pill. season 2 is when Degrassi really got good.
I keep getting notifications that Heather Sinclair has replied to my comment. Someone out there is an even bigger Degrassi dork than I am.
He was on that dinosaur show on Fox. I'm convinced his entire career is because he looks like a mix of Daniel Radcliffe and Zach Efron.
So who is leaving the show? Is anyone graduating this season?
I felt that way at first too, and took a break from the show for a year or so. I was pleasantly surprised at how well they moved forward with new characters. It's kind of realistic, as well: I mean, how often does a high school reference kids who have graduated?
Originally it was supposed to be Sean and Emma getting married, but the actor who played Sean didn't want to come back.
Also, I still miss Spinner and Jay. Didn't Toby go on to write sports coverage for The AV Club Toronto before it folded?
First off, thank you! I've been requesting a check-in with Degrassi for years now (especially during the reviews of The LA Complex).
The Hank's Lookaround Cafe arc is comic gold.
I also think that the Hanks' Night in the Sun episode has something interesting to say about what makes certain people likable—where Hank works as an underdog with endearing vulnerabilities. Part of what makes him a villainous character is when he's ego driven and trying to be cunning, but Hank is at his most likable…
Hank's Night in The Sun might just be my favorite episode of The Larry Sanders Show (though it might be tied with the Hank's Porno episode). The list of things Hanks needs to apologize for at the end is hilarious, and part of me wishes that we could have watched him do those things rather than just hear about them…
Degrassi coverage? My prayers have been answered. Thank you, @ToddVanDerWerff:disqus

The UK version of The Voice is so much better. Tom Jones, Jessie J, Danny O'Donoghue, and Will.I.Am are more entertaining as judges, and there's a much better variety of singers.
Hey now!
Cocoon: The Return had Gutenberg's weird future vision where he sees himself dressed like a Southern plantation owner.
Baggs isn't a one-trick pony, he isn't a ten-trick pony, he's a whole field of ponies…
Do yourself a favor and watch the season of the UK Apprentice with Stuart Baggs.
