Wasn't there supposed to be some other big twist at the end of the episode that's going to help carry the rest of the season?

You'd think they could've used the extra time to polish the bad visual effects. That owl character looked awful.

It kind of reminded me how the first season of Luther progressed. I thought it was an alright show from the beginning of the season, but a great show by the end.

Ripper Street had a pretty strong season, and it definitely got better as it went along. The last two episodes have me really looking forward to Season 2.

Did those ESPN ads ever actually exist? I vaguely recall something like that, but I've searched online for them and couldn't find any recordings

Do yourself a favor and listen to the audiobook version. Robert Evans reads it, and it's 6+ hours of greatness.

I was doing a mashup/mix once and put the Christopher Cross's vocals over part of a 311 song (I think it was "Beautiful Disaster"). It worked surprisingly well over a laid back, reggae song.

Screw him. This song is awesome. I love Christopher Cross's quiet intensity—he's like the Terrence Howard of 80s Yacht Rock.

Fuck Donald Trump and his bullshit, but the first episode of this season was actually alright.

The Dennis Farina years weren't that great—nor was the season with Jesse L. Martin and his female partner (except for the Chevy Chase episode).

Jeremy Sisto's character should have just transferred to Los Angeles and partnered with Corey Stoll. That would have been an awesome Law & Order. Instead, he retired from the force and he and his daughter moved from NYC to Chatswin.

Law & Order was so good towards the end. Similarly, Law & Order: Los Angeles also started showing promise before it was cancelled—due in large part to Corey Stoll.

So we're not going to get regular recaps and coverage of The Celebrity Apprentice this year?

Well, he did allude to the whole "not aging" thing, so Neverland makes more sense than Treasure Island. Maybe it was a "Pirates of the Caribbean" world and he drank from the Fountain of Youth?

So is Baelfire/Neal going to end up being Peter Pan or just a Lost Boy?

So is this going to be a half hour, an hour, or one of those super short Comic Relief things?

David Alan Grier's two recent appearances on the Adam Carolla Show are worth mentioning. His new Teddy Pendergrass bit is fucking hilarious.

Roman's Empire and C-Czar's Palace were both much funnier than PubLIZity or Dr. Armond's spin-off show. I also liked the post-grad video game and Dine & Dash. An uneven episode, but it had plenty of good moments.

Definitely! Blake just tucked and pinned his hair underneath itself. The weird 70s look is pretty funny though.
