Wait. Is this a comment thread about "Talkin' Tang?"
Everything I know about the media and also common courtesy, I learned from R.J. Fletcher.
I would say Adam Scott is MORE famous than Larry Mullen Sr's son, but not as famous as Bonobos.
Growing daffodils?
Try your candy beans with milk steak. It's the only way Charlie Kelly will eat them!
Candy beans. Ever since I saw Michael Bluth eat a whole thing of them on Arrested Development, I've kept a thing of them on my desk at work.
I saw Jeff Tweedy at the Whole Foods in Durham a few weeks ago. I was shopping earlier than usual (before noon, in this case) and I walked past him in an aisle. I thought "Man, that dude looks a lot like Jeff Tweedy" but didn't think anything of it because why would Jeff be at a Whole Foods in Durham on a Saturday…
"Horse" is still one of my favorite songs. I'd pay some money to see Live perform, uh, live at one of those nostalgia fests if I knew that was on the setlist.
My high school/early college girlfriend used Dewberry all the time. Smelling that one again would probably put me in a really weird headspace for a couple of hours.
Is there some distinction between "live-streamed" and "simulcast" that I'm not parsing? For years NBC has live-streamed their Sunday Night Football game on NBCSports.com, and I'm pretty sure you can see CBS and FOX Sunday games online as well, through network-approved sites that don't require a VPN through TOR to some…

The first REAL music snob I ever met was a guy who lived in my dorm freshman year. He was SERIOUS about Peter Gabriel-era Genesis and went into a visible rage whenever the name "Phil Collins" was mentioned, and he was the single biggest Pet Shop Boys fan I've ever known (or hope to meet, because CHRIST was it much).
I don't see how "play more male artists" is exactly equal and opposite to "don't play female artists back to back," but my point was that this kind of thinking has been a rubric of radio programming since I started to pay attention 20 years ago.
This guy is just repeating a rule of radio thumb I first learned in the late 90's. Even back before mass concentration of ownership, advanced audience measurement, or Men's Rights, it was generally accepted practice that a radio station wouldn't play female artists back to back.
Explains where women went wrong: They've been using vinegar and WATER this whole time.
In Mexico, it's known as "El Doorknob Grande." But here in America, it's just plain BIG.
"Over the phone" probably means ISDN, which allows for conversation over the line and the voice talent can do several takes in real time or whatever else the dialogue director wants.
