I was begrudgingly impressed with Katie tonight. She proved to be more articulate in her confessionals than Dana or Dawson, and was clearly thinking hard about strategy, even if she's at a disadvantage. Yeah, she fucked up in the challenge, but I think Penner was being genuine when he said the challenge just didn't

I might normally be disappointed, but I want both Malcolm and Denise to stay.

Definitely missed that.

Definitely missed that.

Well we heard Russell refer to his last season, which if I recall had the single-longest span of rain in the show's history.

While I admire Parvati's strategy, I've always hated her as a person. The most frustrating aspect of FvF and HvV is the tribes' inability to realize her as a threat. Even worse than Penner leaving in FvF was Randy clearly laying it out that she was dangerous in HvV, and no one listening to him. It's either in a

The best instance of this (and the earliest I've seen) is on Malcolm in the Middle. After Malcolm beats up a kid and feels guilty, his mom gives him a long speech about shame and why he feels the way he does, while in the bathroom, tending to a cut on his leg he got in a charity run. She says "Now go to bed," they

I saw the earlier seasons and all the all-stars before filling in gaps w/ individual seasons, mostly because I knew who'd won them by watching all-stars. But even out of order, Heroes vs. Villains is the best. I've said it before: I would have no problem having returning players back each and every season as long as

Well if the last two years has told us anything, competence during the regular season doesn't mean shit. All the Tigers have to do is get hot at the end and carry it into the playoffs.

It's been a while since we've seen them talk strategy. Obviously they did it here just to show Russell overstepping, but it did give us the very brief clip of Jonathan deciding paddling would be the most crucial part of the challenge. And he was definitely right about that. Jeff and Carter smoked the other teams in

I thought that too, but then I remembered it's just good strategy to pack on extra weight before you get there. Go back and look at Boston Rob in the first episode of Redemption Island. He did the same thing.
