In that case I would really recommend going to see this. It's like having many types of horror movies and archetypes thrown into one, but as everyone I know who's seen it has said it's not actually very scary.

I was thinking the exact same thing watching New Girl yesterday. It's just a slower, bulkier, less fun version of Happy Endings.
Klingons = Vikings.
"Man Of The House" must have been mega-old because I never even saw repeats or heard of it.
That's true. When describing Happy Endings to people I feel like I so often use the phrase "but they get away with just because of how fucking funny it is".
I see… this does add to the Inception-like levels of Max and Alex's scheming sexualities.
I also refuse to Wikipedia this and instead demand answers from AV Club commenters. Best description of Three's Company (best, not most accurate) wins a shiny new broadsword!
Were they a family? Or housemates? While three is indeed company, it seems like a very small cast.
This episode added even more to my canon of Three's Company parodies, having never actually seen the original show (didn't make it across the pond).
The Ellen dance was a phenomenal moment. That and Penny's continual use of the term "free-standing house" as if that's a real thing.

I think I converted my housemate with that last one. Happy Endings Team Assemble!
I know what you mean, but don't see how that can really be a criticism. Goldilocks got to complain about porridge being too hot and too cold, even though they're opposite things.
I'm so excited about this show I'm excited about getting to work so I can slack off and comment on the review.
True. The group reaction of "of course it's a lake house" saved the joke for me.
Thoroughly enjoyed this episode yet again, and while I sympathise with reviewers that this season hasn't had an amazing hook to drive it forward, I'd argue that's a necessary evil. It's the year between Peter's respective campaigns, a year of post break-up turmoil for Alicia, and a year where Kalinda's past is slowly…
Please. Please. Please.
THINGS THAT I ENJOYED IN ALL CAPS:
THAT ALL CAPS THING WRECKED MY HEAD, TOO.
