Once I completed every We Hate Movies episode, I went back and re-listened to the first ones I'd heard: Superman III and IV, Deep Impact and The Wrong Guys.  (In a way, it's too bad Louie Anderson didn't make many other movies, because the WHM "Louie Anderson" voice is almost as funny as "Wilford Brimley" et al.)

I suspect he's thinking of "Who's That Girl," which really was a massive flop.

After listening I went to IMDB to see what other Wilford Brimley movies could be featured on WHM, because I need more of this in my life.  (Posstibilities: High Road to China, Remo Williams, Hard Target.)

I respectfully disagree: one of the strengths of WHM is how show where the writing or production of a film went horribly wrong (see the "Senseless" episode, for example).  For MIB2 they made a convincing case that some of the plot points and big action scenes had to be tossed out because of 9/11, but the filmmakers

I've been binging on old WHM episodes lately.  The show was good from the start, but it really started to hit its stride around the time they did back-to-back Superman III and IV episodes.  The summer, 2011 review show was fantastic, too - hopefully they'll do one for 2012.

The only thing about this episode was, now I *want* to watch "The Skulls," despite their recommendation against it.  It sounds awesome in its terribleness.

The best Audible spot they ever did was before "Mr. Destiny."  They found out that Jim Belushi had recorded some "Shakespeare for Children" books, and said that's the closest he'll ever get to doing Shakespeare.

It's about time someone stood up for the much-maligned parking-lot industry!

The "Repugnant Tees" bit almost made me crash my car from laughing so hard.
