I do a pretty good Meatwad impression, but only when I'm trying to do impressions of other people and failing miserably.

I like Cloverfield a lot, actually, but I think it would have been more effective if the protagonists were people I DIDN'T want to see die.

ZMF is right. I'm not a torture porn fan at all, but as long as you can distinguish reality from fantasy, there's nothing wrong with enjoying Hostel or any of that stuff.

Also, older horror movies are pretty awesome. And Freaks is pretty damn scary.

Poltergeist is pretty fucking scary for PG, and I'd say the Ring is worthy. Ghosts tend to be more readily adaptable to the PG-13 rating, because they don't require a lot of gore.

@IM: EXACTLY. Admiral Ackbar, the Emperor, the Rancor, the one black character turning out to be a good guy… these things just get ignored because everyone hates the Ewoks.

I think so. But what that scene was about really was that WE, the viewers got popped. We wanted to see what happened, we wanted to know what this was building to, but in the end, we don't know, and we'll never know.

I didn't hate the ending of the Dark Tower. It wasn't great, but I think it would have been hard to reach a satisfying conclusion no matter what.

I still don't get the Jedi hate. Yes, Ewoks suck, but it's still awesome.
