I'd suggest 10 Cent Plague for nonfiction. Also, Generation Kill.

I keep seeing it at the store, but wasn't sure if it was worth it. Maybe I'll give it a try now.
I have A Game of Thrones on my shelf, but haven't gotten around to it.
Kid Gorgeous, Blood Meridian is a tough read, I think. It's great, and very rewarding, but it isn't easy. You aren't alone there.
Just finished Name of the Wind last week. It was great, but did anyone else get pissed off that Kvothe was so fucking cocky about everything? It seemed out of character for older Kvothe to be so cocky about the stuff he did in the past if he knows that it was going to end in tragedy. That was the one major flaw I…
I'd love to do Underworld. I love that book. Or Falling Man.
I'd like to read some more sci-fi. I've always felt that books are more conducive to fantasy while film is more conducive to science fiction, so I rarely read sci-fi. The only sci-fi author I really like is Dick (excepting dystopian fiction).
All great books that I found really pushed the world of Fantasy in different directions. Just read American Gods a few weeks back.
Hocus Pocus was great. I'd like to see Breakfast of Champions or Cat's Cradle on here, since I haven't read them.
Doyle's pretty damn awesome. I took a weird class where we studied Doyle and Joyce at the same time. Reading Ulysses which has comparatively little dialog and The Commitments, which is practically all dialog, at the same time was an experience.
Second Kavalier and Clay. Perhaps my favorite of the decade.
I've been wanting to get into Bolano for a few months now.
I've read about half of Little Big, and could really use a reason to finish it.
Awesome idea
But can we get some sort of reminder about a week beforehand just in case we've forgotten. I'll probably have no recollection of this until the morning off, when I'll yell fuck so loud Obama will hear me.
I saw this guy on Fox News one day
He said he carries around a Bible. And he doesn't call it a Bible. He calls it Scripture. SCRIPTURE!
HALF a decade? More like a decade and a half.
KING OF COMEDY is one of the most underrated films of the 80s.
FX is always either really good, or really good guilty pleasure stuff.
Nah, he's got it for Angela.
worrywort, isn't that the essence of opinion? If I have an opinion, I think it makes more sense than everyone else's, don't I? Or else I wouldn't have an opinion. You think you're right, and you think everyone else, at least to some degree, is wrong. You can understand someone else's opinion, but you can't believe it.…
