VCB is better than Match Point, which is slightly overrated, but still pretty damn good.

Balls, I've only seen it once, but I think it gets shit on more because it's their worst movie than anything. When you're talking about the guys who made Fargo, FARGO, you expect much better than Ladykillers.
Weirdest Title on there
Steve McQueen
I am looking forward
To seeing all three of those movies. Anyone else think Chabon wrote YPU for the Coens to adapt? It's tailor made.
Yes. It was more worth it the second time.
I would call Big Lebowski a western, but also a film noir and a comedy.
Variety, Next Week
HBO to Powers: "YOU'RE FUCKING OUT!"
I would love to get a Kenny Powers Boston shirt.
Best Guest Voice, IMO: Thomas Pynchon. How do you beat that? It was funny and the one time Thomas Pynchon has made a public appearance in his career. Well, actually, the two times.
Knowing 2: The Knowingening.
Remake any movie, whether it's good or bad, and make it 10 times worse.
Body double or no body double, they are still beautiful, beautiful breasts.
The fact that it's 10 in the past 5 seasons
Says a lot about a show that, at it's peak, would have had about 100 great episodes over the course of 5 seasons. This list managed to make me more depressed about the drop off in quality over the years.
It did seem really random, but worked very well in the context at the same time.
Synecdoche, NY wasn't really anything like this, but the rest I agree with. Also silent film and Guy Maddin.
Best
Episode: The Pilot (not an attempt at a first)
While I don't ignore direct adaptations (Fight Club and No Country for Old Men are very true to the novels, but are both fantastic adaptations), I agree. That's why I love Kubrick so much. He does adapt so much as he recreates.
You never know. I personally found the American remake of the Ring to be better than the Japanese version, so LTROI might turn out good.
I've heard that the dub is the worst most people have heard.
Proposition does kick ass, and I bet the Road will be great if the studio hasn't been fucking with it for the past 4 months.
