I've been wanting to find a copy of this movie for a long time, and when I saw it was being re-released on DVD, I was genuinely excited.
Your brother sounds awesome.
I also love this movie. Just watched it a few weeks ago after TCM aired it. It's beautiful to look at, and Martin Sheen is mesmerizing.
I know that much. But look at how many people are still living, compared to how many are undead already. The vast majority of the world's population is already walking around as a zombie. And once each one is brained in some fashion, they cease to be.
I wish it was that random. A big issue for me with the show is the lack of danger and uncertainty. The walkers are just a random nuisance at this point, there's little danger from them anymore.
But revolvers don't eject spent casings automatically.
@avclub-94d231f11cdc1fae024849f33f7a7156:disqus : That's true, though I'm pretty certain he handed over his revolver for the suicide.
…dammit.
That's what I thought too. But again, it could've been my brain not wanting to admit I just heard a shell casing ejected from a revolver.
I thought the sound after Andrea's off-camera suicide was the gun hitting the ground, but I think I just assumed they wouldn't have a shell casing sound after she shoots herself with a revolver. I could be quite wrong.
His bench is merely a large boulder which he stands upon.
FLAGGED for Judge Holden using the world "beyotch". Also FLAGGED for not using the word "thrapple", as in "splits his skull right to the thrapple."
I see what you did there, and I approve.

Five Points!
Sounds like my prom night.
You were close, it was how the Anasazi children visited their friends.
Oh my god, Disqus is Suqsid spelled backwards!
When you say Heaven's Gate is a "lost masterpiece", I couldn't agree more. It was likely sunk by the hype before it ever made it to the theaters, but I think it's a nice little film.
