He was really great in that movie where he plays that retard.  I have a cousin who is a retard.  So as you might imagine, it meant a lot to me to see retards portrayed on the silver screen so compassionately.

I love that that wasn't part of the script, but just some crew in a car being assholes.  Thank you, asshole crewmembers.

Pay heem.  Pay dat myan hees booty.

Sid Bream.

I don't think it is, but I could be mixing movies with TV. Because while I feel like I've seen another show do it, I can't even remotely guess as to what show it would've been.

I used to have the problem of irritating my inner ear, and didn't know it.  Every once in a while, it'd be like I'd have lockjaw for a few days, for no apparent reason.  I finally realized it was irritation to my ear, and started being more careful when cleaning my ears.

PC shooters can't really recreate the joy of having 3 of your friends over and blasting the shit out of each other in Goldeneye multiplayer.  Unless you have 4 computers.  Even then:

They left a little out, and compressed a few scenes.  But all in all, it's one of the most faithful adaptations of a book I've ever seen.  Amazingly, the Coens managed to add a few lines that somehow improved it, like Wendell saying "These boys appear to be managerial."  But no matter what they added, McCarthy wrote

I forgot Gone Baby Gone, so all is forgiven.

I am literally the worst.

As do I.  I've been meaning to put a pile together of all the books I've started but not finished, and not because I didn't like the book to that point.  There's gotta be at least 25 books that'd go in that pile.

There's literally nothing better than playing Licence To Kill - Pistols - Basement.  It's perfection.

Twenty minutes into No Country For Old Men and I knew it was one of my favourite movies.  The book is just as good, which shouldn't really surprise, since the Coens basically filmed the book scene by scene.

Casino Night might be the best episode ever.  So much good stuff in there.I've said it so many times, but: How great was 2007 for movies?!  Your list has 4 or 5 from that year alone, and you didn't even include some other great ones.

It remains the only movie I've ever watched 3 times in a row.  The DVD loops back to the beginning, and I had no problems with that.

I do love that movie.  The last 6 minutes are utterly flawless, with the Nick Cave score driving it home.

Teri Garr has never looked better, either.

I went into my first viewing, wanting to like it. Thinking I'd like it.  Expecting to like it.
