As someone who likes to play sports, and rarely watch them, a brief introduction to the concept of sport celebrity would have helped.  Why did you ever care about this guy in the first place? Why do you care if he cheated, when probably most everyone in the sport at the top level was cheating in some way or another?…

Not that Alphas is particularly great, but the crappy 'reality' driven programming is such a wonderful byproduct  profit driven commercial television.

I guess I am one of the few people that find this show a cute distraction to easily forget. I watch it when it comes out, but I pay so little attention I have absolutely no knowledge of the continuity issues the AV Club mentions here and there.

Emily needs to crush the Obviously Evil Brothers in one swift move that ties up that horrible plot line in an instant, never to be mentioned again.

Frankly this show jumped the shark when Henry Winkler jumped the shark.

Joe Schmo 2 was fun. It had a male and female marks in the show, but the woman figured it out and they invited her to join the production.

You should make your nephew play outside and maybe make some friends. Sports are good for both physical fitness and self-esteem.

Why aren't there any prime time dramas about fat, ugly, and untalented ballet dancers that are portrayed as sympathetic heroic characters?

Watched this show once some years ago. I thought it was pretty bad. I saw this review that gave this episode an A. Tried again. This episode is absolutely horrible. The characters are horrific caricatures created by ignorant people that appear to be grafting their own sexism on to their creations.

While I completely agree that the Obviously Evil Brothers plot is annoying at every turn, there is one simple resolution that would be entirely satisfying, but we are unlikely to see.
