I used the words "two OF THE most talented".  I also used "English language"  and yes, I stand by it.  they are two writers whose work I admire a great deal.  They are relatively young yes but I think they are producing work that will be read way into the future like many of the masters you speak of.

Oh yeah, weird Worm controlled Bobby was GREAT.  He's such an excellent actor.  Another example of making us think that they were going to do really exciting things with Eve etc.  :(

My hope is that the strength of Collins' acting will see them through.  For instance, I got chills when he told them all to get on their knees and profess their love.  And that slight twitch of his eye.  I will be interested to see what they do with him.

I'm hoping that in the next couple seasons they work out this issue.  Figure out how to streamline the serial plots.  Get one working well and stop trying to do a million at once.

Sometimes I think his anger is purposefully hyperbolic in a humorous way.  To be honest I'm not sure he really cares as much as he puts on.  He makes great art, he's happily married, makes decent money, lives in a weird fucking castle in the country, I think he's doing fine.  Also he is a wizard and is probably all…

Here's the thing.  Alan Moore makes great art.  Most of the things taking his, admittedly borrowed, creations and doing something else with them are not good art.

I really wish Thornton would write and direct a little more.  Though I've heard his newest flick is kind of bad.  I rewatched this recently and I was surprised by what an elegant and beautifully written movie it is.  Those long takes are killer.  He seemed to be a rare talent as a writer/director.

HIlarious.  I'm glad that season 6 is your least favorite.  Feel like that means Season 7 and 8 will not get worse.  I don't hate it by any means but I don't think it's all that great and I was worried it might get worse.

Totally agree.  It seems like we've had 18 big bads and 45 main serial plots through this season.  Overstuffed and rushed.  Still enjoying it, mind, but it's definitely not the show at it's best.
