The Dean's necklace thing is a VERY good point.  I was going to say that maybe Cas had it when they came in contact with him but no, when they first met him Dean still had it.  And Cas was with them numerous times too.  So that is definitely a plot hole there.

Oh uh, we are forgetting the biggest thing.  CHUCK IS GOD!!!!!!  YAYYYY!!!  That was my immediate go to, and from looking it up that is indeed what Kripke claims to be going for.

I don't think I find it better than any of those films, but it is certainly a great film and In the Mood for Love might be my favorite ever so it's up against stiff competition from me.

Schreiber is so great in it.  He could be so much less than he is but they manage to make his character brilliant and even complex.
