"Hey, I'm a goofy panther, bitch. Grrr, bitch. Are you scared? Whatever. Anyway, quitting time. See ya later, bitch." is my Flop House quote of the week.

Ditto.

I would have loved this because it was funny and I have a soft spot for good cop shows. But THEN you add Andre Braugher, who is responsible for my love of good cop shows? This lived up to the high bar I mentally set. Can't wait to see where the season goes.

Great interview! I love these guys. There are too many favorite bits to mention but I remember Rocket Crocodile and the World of Tomorrow and Chopin Goatables really winning me over when I first started listening. "He said 'goats." "We'll give it to you, he said 'goats.'"

You guys will be sorely missed. Thanks for all the awesome stuff to read. The film-specific project at the Chicago-based media company is lucky to have you.

Goddamn I am so tired of Marc Maron.

Stopped listening to HDTGM after finding The Flop House, but I FINALLY watched the Room this past weekend and a friend recommended I listen to the HDTGM episode w/ the guy who played Mark. I found it was a lot more interesting than previous episodes, so yeah, maybe they should stick to that format.

Agreed, but I don't expect to hear about The Flop House here any more, just the same 10 or so podcasts that keep having the hosts of each others shows on as guests. Boring. The Flop House consistently makes me laugh till I cry and they have a brand of comedy that's funny right off and more rewarding to fans with each
