I ditched RBC years ago over the fees, and I've got few gripes and pretty good customer service from PC financial. And I've saved some good coin in grocery money. A lot of people seem high on credit unions these days, although I don't know anything about 'em.

Last week was the one year anniversary of when I had to move my 70-year-old mom into a home because her dementia made her dependent and sometimes violent to my much older dad (also two days after my parents' wedding anniversary, which she doesn't remember). She now doesn't recognize my dad, who visits every day. She

I was delayed on my way to work while a bigass family of geese ambled across a major road like it ain't (what's the past tense of ain't) no thang. It was fun.

Something equally awkward to pronounce like "Steven M.N. Martin."

Couldn't that be

NYT is failing, you goddam cuck.

I'm not judging slutty phases at all. I had some fun, and it wasn't sexually unhealthy or self-destructive, I just think it wasn't very good for me personally and my emotional perspective on relationships.

I might like to see that, but it really depends what he wears when he's swimming.

Theory: he finished the story two years ago, but has needed the extra time just to describe the food at every feast.

I was also under the impression that there's some debate over whether he knew they were Russian. I guess that's not the case.

I think there's a feeling - which I suppose I share - that one should treat real victims with more delicacy and respect than fictional ones.

I've only paid partial attention to this story because I'm getting fuckin' Trumped out, and I don't even live in the U.S.

That is fucking unbelievable. I can't even imagine. The partisanship and bloviating stupidity in the U.S. is truly on a new plane when fucking immediate family members troll each other about it.

God dammit, I just ejaculated all over my green-tinted visor and adding machine.

I think you're getting too offended at the tone. Reading through your conversation, it seemed like the two of your are not quite arguing about the same thing. This isn't a matter of "you're too stupid to understand," it just seemed that you two were not quite on same page.

A few years back on Nov. 11, I turned on the History Channel at 11 am to see what they'd be showing on Rembrance Day. It was CSI Miami. Fuck off.

But I always drink plenty of.. Malk?

Um, I did. My girlfriend looked at the site and picked a bunch of pairs, and I trusted her too much! I did get all my money back - and free bogus Ray-Bans. Excelsior!

I disagree, but I also mostly hate his movies. I think the important difference here is that even though he has set movies during real and horrifying events, they were still fictional stories, with his brand if fetishized/stylized violence. I believe the only real people he's ever killed on screen were Nazi brass, and

Unless I missed something in the thread, it seems to me that you're misunderstanding Daveshayne's point, being that IB and DU are fictional stories set during true horrifying events. The people in those stories aren't real, although they obviously represent real life.
