Which is especially funny since the people who go to Broadway shows these days are tourists from Paducah.

Didn't famed screenwriter William Goldman call Russ Meyer American film's only auteur? After all most of the films Meyer directed he also wrote and edited and often did the camerawork.

Actually I think in the sixties "sit-in" was more a reference to the civil rights movement. Blacks would go to restaurants (both North and South) that normally refused to serve them, sit in a seat, and refuse to leave until they were served.

Anyone ever hear of remotes that worked by clicking two hammers together at a specific frequency? I remember reading about people with these kind of remotes who would accidentally change the channel by dangling their keys at the exact right frequency.

I lived in Central Washington where all channels were UHF. Which meant good luck seeing anything more than an amorphous goo unless you fiddled with the fine tuning disc around the knob. So just rapid fire.

Because the people who run AMC, TLC, MTV, and Bravo have never been known for their poor programming decisions or lapses in judgement.
