For people who have seen this, settle something please
(SPOILERY STUFF) From reading Tobias up above, I assume he is with me in believing that madness is the true enemy in this movie. That there is no connection between Gordon and Mary they are just two people who snapped one day. A friend of mine believes there is

I am with you on this one. It really failed to connect with me on any level. I guess I can see how groundbreaking and whatever whatever it was at the time but that didn't make it an entertaining movie.

Kobol backstory
I know films should stand on their own but there was a little preview comic released online that details Cobb and Arthur's first run at the Kobol job. (Spoilers) They infiltrate a lower level executive's dream to find this new idea Saito's company was developing and learn that only Saito has the

I devoured the Secret Goldfish in one sitting. Assorted Fire Events is also very, very good. Oddly, I am reminded of Kelly Link with some of his stuff (as his stories don't always exist in our reality) but maybe it was because I was reading her stories at the same time.

On my first real date with my former fiance (note, not wife) I asked her what her favorite movie of all time was. She named my least favorite movie of all time (Robin Hood: Men in Tights). I should have just stood up and walked away at that point…

Nick DiPaolo
If I recall correctly, the bit that was circulated by Howard Stern and others as a real confrontation between Louis CK and DiPaolo over politics was bit recorded for this show. So, we have some good Nazi talk to look forward to.

Thank goodness for this reasonable discussion, I felt alone in my complete ambivalence towards Jeepers Creepers. Talk about dating your comedy, the whole thing hinged on a now dated idea of slackers parodying a really dated musical. It runs way too long and, despite some good gags, makes me steer clear of rewatching

Yeah, didn't Bernard already seem "enlightened" when Jack went to visit him a few episodes ago? I don't think I was even looking for the "enlightened" thing when we saw Rose at that employment service. It was almost like everyone had to find their constant but since Rose and Bernard are each other's constant, maybe

Some thoughts
- Jack fixes things, that is what he does…awesome

Both Garcia and Emerson showed up at the Lost Live talk thing. The fans really, really love Emerson. But almost no one showed Garcia any love. Which I found weird.

No No No

Actually, it would be fitting the smoke monster's MO to have slaughtered the camp himself just to set up the death of Allison Janey much like he manipulated Ben into killing Jacob. Drive Nameless into a rage and then sit back and hope he takes out the protectors of the island.

I am such a goddam nerd, but Arclight was in the comics. She was part of Mr. Sinister's Marauders. If she hadn't been in the storyline that got me into the X-Men (the Morlock Massacre) I wouldn't know that.

I always think of him as Schillinger's son from Oz who roomed with Beecher and was hooked on smack.

Yes and yes, Frick. I was a big fan back on the early days of the Comedy Channel. There is an HBO one night stand that features the Higgins Boys and Gruber's best bits. The sex survey, the sea captain and the game show bits are fun. I think you can find it on youtube?

Sorry this took me so long to respond but, yes, I have been working on the same theory. The thing that throws me off is that the Christian that lured Claire into the woods seems to be F-Locke. Maybe we have two running around?

Bugging me
Sorry if someone else has addressed this but there are a ton of posts to dig through. One thing has really been bugging me since we learned that Smokey has been all the dead people trying to lead everyone astray back in the early seasons. It seems Christian is one of Smokey's incarnations (from his

Sociopathy
I wrote a term paper on this movie in grad school using the characters as an example of people aging out of effective sociopathy. A complete lack of morality is needed to do what these guys do but The Machine has lost his teeth (as it were). He can't mimic sociopathy when he has a family to worry about.

Sean's Jerk shout out
I, too, was obsessed with what in God's name Pizza in a cup would entail. I finally decided that one should make the "cup" out of dough and fill it with pizza toppings. That way, you can just eat the whole damn thing.

dalice, the movie you describe already exists pretty much with Willis and Mos Def in an odd couple action movie called 16 Blocks, directed by Richard Donner (Lethal Weapon) instead of Guy Ritchie.
