This is one of the best comments I've ever read on here.

The Super Friends WERE diarrhea.

Basically what happened during that famous interview is that he was in character, promoting a movie called "Rubin and Ed" in which he played Rubin. The problem was that he didn't seem to tell anybody that, for whatever reason, the movie didn't come out for another 4 years. So everybody just thought he was insane.

Oh man. Such a great cast, but.. I don't think there was anything I found remotely funny in this trailer.

Groo holds up fine, don't worry. The thing is that only about half of the series is currently in print (and not the beginning or the end of the series, either, just a big chunk of the middle). Luckily it was almost completely episodic and extremely consistent anyway, so it's not like a new reader would be missing much

Oh god I hate Hi and Lois so much. Back when I used to read the Sunday comics that strip would always just be a list of potential activities, with some lame non-twist at the end that negated them all.
ie. Mom: "We're going to the beach!"
