It's weird to think that Star Trek has done at least two episodes about people unintentionally projecting their emotions onto other people via telepathy, and one (Sarek) was tragic while Fascination is all played for laughs. You'd think Lwaxana might be horrified to see her libido put on display, both as an invasion

I maintain that Johnny Test is a gender-swapped Dexter's Laboratory without the charm, humor, pacing or skill.

That isn't a cartoon, it's a cautionary tale, with a "have you seen me?" picture of humor on the side.

I've enjoyed the few episodes I've seen so far (this was not one I saw), but there's definitely weird things about it around the edges, even in good episodes. Such as using the character Lola (introduced in the movie Space Jam, which makes her weird enough already) as an obsessed stalker of Bugs, who can't seem to

Is it more disturbing than if we found out Gideon's mother was dead? I vote yes.

I like that Gideon's plans are kind of…bad. The publisher's fraud would never have held up in court, for example, and the termites one only needed a small nudge to make it backfire. So it's appropriate that Gideon doesn't make the shrink ray flashlight.

Are you saying Zack is prone to giving us evil, incomprehensible orders in a dickish way?

Also good: the fact that O'Brien trips the system instead of Jake. It's a minor thing, but I'm glad that the trained professional causes the problem instead of the station commander's son. Not that O'Brien is at fault, but I prefer that to "kids do the darnedest things!"

You have indeed earned something: an offscreen death.

Civil Defense is also a great example of something DS9 could do that Next Generation and Voyager couldn't. If we were told that the Enterprise or Voyager had some forgotten security system buried deep in its files that would try to kill everyone on board, we'd all be flipping out over how stupid it is, no matter what
