Awkwardly reminded of a scene from Pitch Perfect there. Loud chairdragging as power play: apparently it's a thing!

In the stories, she's their landlady who also does some housekeeping and cooking for them. She's an all-around caretaker. She's around basically forever, and shows up in at least a small way in the vast majority of the stories.
Okay, a scholar is a scholar, whether they have institutional backing or not. She is

I know I'm way, way late on this (been catching up from the beginning the last couple of weeks), but seriously. I was actually meta-amused by this ep because the plot was very similar to an episode of Supernatural (both halves of a couple of witches trying to kill each other—played, in turn, by the actors who played

Renard is one of my favorite characters. A big part of that is that he seems to understand that SHARING INFORMATION IS HELPFUL TO EVERYONE, unlike literally every other person around him. I repeat: the most secretive motherfucker on this show is the one who best understands the usefulness of transparency. WHAT IS

Yeah, I was really hoping based on the title that Rosalee was gonna attack the guy right back. Foxes are predator animals, after all. Monroe being protective was cute, and a welcome reminder of his dangerous side, but I still wanted to see Rosalee land a couple.

I just want more screentime for him (without him being whammied by potions and whatnot). I didn't dislike last week's ep nearly as much as most people did, probably in large part because I was too busy going "WUUUUUUUUUUUU!" for big chunks of it.

YES. I've been getting really annoyed that the show apparently wants to 100% indulge the fans' love of Monroe's fluffernutter side and abandon the darker side of him. What happened to having to work actively against all his natural impulses to kill and ravage? He's becoming so consistently sweetness and light and

Super late to this, but what the hell. Am I the only person who thought Ms. Hudson's becoming their cleaning lady was a really bizarre choice for the character? It makes sense as a way of getting her into their lives and making her part of their home, and I LOVED the character as they presented her, but the two things

I also thought it was very much in the spirit of Doyle's usually super-convoluted mysteries. Like The Blue Carbuncle or The Red-Headed League (which this ep may have drawn on a little, as there was an elaborately planned robbery of a major cash reserve in it).

I saw it as a small narrative parallel to Holmes's giving Ms. Hudson the cleaning job (which I actually thought was 100% implausible for her character, but oh well). Helping someone without trying to save them. Especially since he told the homeless guy to "get yourself a room tonight" and Ms. Hudson is moving into

Have you seen the @ClydetheTurtle:twitter account on twitter? Because it's in a similar conversation with the writers' account. They just compared him to Olivier.
