Actually, I don't think that's a good idea. I watched it after a few bowls of hydro and I was shaking. I'm a huge pussy.

See, ya should have taken the mushrooms BEFORE you watched it.
^^Agreed. I'd like to think that they won some kind award for that. It's also a shame that Noe wasn't recognized for his technical achievements in Enter the Void.
Inspiration!
Irreversible
I'm not sure why it wasn't regarded as one of the great achievements in Horror filmmaking in the last decade. You don't need ghosts or demons to be a horror movie. That movie makes me want to pull the covers over my eyes.
When you see it, you'll find that the scene takes place in a tunnel, not in the rectum. Well, it happens in the rectum but not in the club. In Monica B's rectum. Horrific stuff. Excellent movie.
My thoughts exactly, Meadow. I really enjoyed the movie, too.
The Road
I really enjoyed the 3 minutes of screen time he had. "Are you carrying the fire?" "Are you ok, kid?" Both him and Bobby Duvall turned in great cameos.
Fuck me.
I thought the directors name was actually Zach Braffian. I almost shit. I need to wake up.
Superman theme=awesome.
Flight of the Valkyries!
I thought it was a stupid idea.
Murpheys bullet riddled body represents the Detroit of the present. But Robocop could be something of a beacon of hope for these people. I'm all for it.
I get that. Im just saying the "shock" they were in after winning felt pretty insincere. They knew they were going to win. I got no problem with the arcade fire. They're just a band I never got into. They should rename the band to "Win Butler and The Arcade Fire".
yeah
Im sure Win Butler was surprised when they won. He was so surprised, his band played a song immediately after accepting.
Or
The Perks of Being Emma Watsons Cotton Panties.
I get it.
Just got back from '97. What the fuck happened?
So
that was the Melvins doing Black Betty? Awesome. Maybe they can perform next year!
Jesus Christ!
Is it too much to ask to get Ween for the next Super Bowl? Or at least Primus?! Cmon America!
@a thought- I'm usually guilty of skimming. Sorry. The only complaint I have is the beginning, when Oscar says "I wonder what Tokyo looks like from up there" and Linda says "I don't". She flew over there so she knows what tokyo looks like from a plane. Oscar does too, but it's possible he had lived there for a while…
@A thought- You really think this looks like a student film? I honestly don't think some of the greatest directors working today could pull off what Noe did here. I'm not saying you're wrong for not connecting with it like I did, but give credit where it's due. If that's what death is like, then that's one less thing…
