Greatest end credits music of the year, without a doubt.

That scene in Bernie is so incredibly informative while being superbly entertaining.

That sequence in Looper is fantastic, but even better is the scene with Garret Dillahunt. I don't want to spoil what happens, but the terrifying beauty of that set piece in the farmhouse is stunning.

My biggest issue with Luhrmann is that he over-edits his films to death (Moulin Rouge in particular was a headache of fast cuts), which will not work for modern 3-D. Hopefully this will encourage him to luxuriate in long takes and elegant camera moves, the better to show off his wife's art design (generally the only…

I hear you about certain unnecessary restrictions it placed on the film, but my favorite thing about Chronicle, and what made it unique within the genre, was the one kid using his powers to float the cameras. It gave the whole thing a visual lyricism that is usually not possible in found footage films.

Agreed. It's not totally worthless as a genre, but just like any fad or trend in horror, it gets abused so repeatedly that the conceit starts to wear thin if not guided by a sure hand. This movie is phenomenal, and I also liked both Chronicle and Last Exorcism (more for their set-ups than their payoffs).

Eleanor, thus the movie.

Yeah, I'm pretty allergic to Carrey, save for Truman Show and Eternal Sunshine. If he does anything strange with his face at all, I have to turn away in terror.

Every time I saw the poster for Think Like a Man, I would imagine it being discovered by some distant, utterly baffled alien race.
