It sucks that you likely spent a small fortune to watch surveillance footage of Middle Earth.

Normally I support a director's intended vision, but I honestly expected EXACTLY what Tasha is articulating above and am firmly against 48fps. I can't stand the look of motion-smoothing—it was immediately distracting to me the first time I saw an LCD showing stuff this way—so there's no way I'll watch this in anything…

I liked Sphere more than I expected (mostly because it follows through on its batshit premise), but you should never stop watching Alien half way through, no matter how many times everyone has seen it.

The fact that Cosmopolis has an average score of 58 on Metacritic makes me want to move to Canada. Hopefully it will end up like Videodrome, and people ten years from now will see just how brilliant and prescient it truly is…

I didn't think it was godawful, but the reviews led me to believe it was something much more than the usual found footage film, and it's really not. In fact, the media-splintering approach actually drained the film of immediacy.

I'm partial to "Blue Peanuts" myself. Snoopy as Frank Booth is just magical.

Your last line just made me realize that the best person to direct such a movie would be Mel Gibson. And it would only offend Aliens and/or Predators, so that's another plus!
