Writing:C .. Jeff Bridges: A+
Jeff'd was hilarious just because of how little he really wanted to make his 'victims' uncomfortable and only worked because of Bridges

Superchunk
Before the Kanye West album, and after "Majesty Shredding" there was about 2 weeks where I listened to nothing but Superchunk, particularly some of the mid-period stuff I never had gotten around to. "Here's Where the Strings Come In" is fantastic.
"Amazing" was always my favorite track on that album. I actually think Kid Cudi re-used some of the sounds that go into the background of that album for his "Man on the Moon II", an album I am starting to like more and more
I have a feeling there could be squablles over this grade..
best not be hauntin' these parts fer a spell..
And the sequal isnt bad either
jealousy is a disease
just watched "bigger and blackerer" on netflix lastnight
he probably has one of the better arguments for not doing heroin, aside from "requiem for a dream"
haha I was gonna do a "Fuck You, I liked Hot Tub Time Machine" post, but I guess I will have to go with something else.
Chronic-what-cles of Narnia..
thank you for that. I refuse to say it any other way.
Everyone talks shit about the first two, but if it was edited down to one episode it probably would have been just as good as the rest of the season. I kind of loved Maureen "I like to stay cozy and current" Ponderosa, and hope she comes back somehow.
I lol'd alot this episode
awesome episode
I would give the episode an A if not for that
agree with everything you said southtownriots. And if anything Wolf Parade is Modest Mouse Jr. (which of course, they are not.)
Damn upon listening to Yeasayer again I realized that oughta be on the list. Top 10 lists are hard.
and now some songs that cannot be ignored:
-Band of Horses: Neighbor
-Yeasayer: ONE
-LCD Soundsystem: Dance Yrself Clean
-Spoon: I Saw the Light
-Black Keys: Next Girl
-Menomena: Queen Black Acid
Lets do this shit…
1)Big Boi
2) Kanye (telling that my first 2 are rap, this was a standout year for rap I think)
3)Superchunk
4)Hot Chip
5)Wolf Parade
6) Gorillaz
7)Sleigh Bells
8)The National
9)Broken Social Scene
10) Ratatat (I had to include this just because if you include their awesome rap remix albums, Ratatat was…
wow, what tards
the Midlake album, though perfect for a soundtrack to a game of D&D or Magic:The Gathering, was kind of a bummer. Mad, you are the first I have seen to mention Band of Horses though and for that I commend you. I enjoyed that one a lot too, especially the song "Neighbor", a great song with a slow build that is…
Best album from last year that you just got into?
For me:
Flaming Lips, but I didn't listen to that nearly as much as POS-Never Better. That would probably should have been my album of the year last year, and Dessa's verse on "Low Light Low Life" is 10x better than anything Nicki Minaj has ever done.
Holiday is a great song that is being ruined by a car commercial
