Has anyone pointed out how different this season looks visually compared to previous seasons? It seems S3 has a lot of soft focus, bright colors, and I can't even explain it but the cinematography feels off sometimes. I probably wouldn't even notice if this was Season 1 but when watching the new episodes and comparing

Agreed. A C for this episode is being very generous.

It seems like they legitimately don't remember what made the Jim/Pam romance work. The Andy/Erin relationship is like watching some crappy Asylum ripoff of the real thing.

You're implying next season will be the last one? God let's hope so. I can't imagine what next season would be like if they had to stall for another year (or two…or three…)

Ah, my bad. I'm not exactly sure how I managed to read "Dean" as "Kucinich" — I'm really tired.

Didn't they have the blu-ray trilogy in the current timeline? You'd think Marshall and Ted would be disgusted with the changes made.

It's hard to get used to her as a serious love interest when the first time we saw her she was using Barney for money. That was fine as a comedic plot line, but I'm having a hard time taking her seriously and rooting for her considering where this relationship started.

Did anyone else find the newspaper gags kind of odd? As Donna noted, two of the fantasy scenarios showed Al Gore and Dennis Kucinich (if I read correctly) as President, and the absolute worst scenario showed Bush as President. Except for "Bush gets surprise third term," there was seemingly no actual joke here, aside

Season 2 > Season 1 > Season 3 (so far)

She was pretty bad in Unknown. I think she does a decent job in Mad Men, but in First Class and Unknown she seriously looked like she thought the director was doing a practice take and nobody wasn't actually filming. Like, "just stand in place so we can get the lighting right here, no need to emote or anything until I

John Goodman wearing pajamas is, for some reason, one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

"STOP TALKING ABOUT THINGS I DON'T LIKE."

No, you really need to watch from the beginning.

He was great, but not as good as his role in Rampart, available on Blu-ray and DVD this summer.

I got the impression that was more of him sensing that something was off, and that the dark timeline existed, rather than literally seeing what we saw.

I read an interesting theory somewhere (and I'm probably going to butcher this) that said the reason Abed was determined sane is because he's the only one living within the world of the show, because he consumes so much television. In other words, Abed is so familiar with the rules of television, and because he's

So you're more informed about the movie than the person who actually saw it?

"Should I show my 4 year old niece this?"
No. Absolutely not. No. No no no. No.
