Oh, they're all very true. I screen capped some of the moments, in fact, such as the Samurai robot (who I'm only now noticing literally has a yellow/golden face, so, thanks for that, Michael Bay):

My wife had a co-worker who was just such a person.
Every week is Taylor Swift week on the new AVC.
Completing my cycle of self-punishment, I watched a pirated copy of "Transformers: Age of Who Even Gives a Shit Anymore" today. (I like to stay current on terrible movies from time to time.)
My next album will be available exclusively via a cassette tape in the center of a defensive sphere of sea urchins. I'll be streaming a MIDI recreation on Friendster one week ahead of release, though.

"Lip-sync battle?" I am not drunk enough yet to acknowledge that that's a thing people voluntarily watch for entertainment.
Oh believe me, I'm familiar with it. I miss the days when movies had, you know, more than various shades of two colors in them.
Good grief, that is one orange-and-teal-y movie.
The effects *were* fine, apart from that awful CGI space monkey. *shudders*
I rewatched Nemesis not too long ago, and I honestly can't say I found it to be as bad as everybody says it is. Not a great film, but after not having watched it for so long and remembering the constant refrains of how it is OMG SO BAD I just walked away thinking "well, it's not great, but…hell, I'd watch it over…
Seriously. And it's got what may be DeForest Kelley's finest moment, in the scene where Sybok takes him back to his father's death. For all that movie's silliness it does have some great character moments for the three core characters.
One of the frustrating things about the reboot movies (among many, many frustrating things about them) is that they genuinely have got a pretty great cast, but they are utterly wasted by the films. John Cho's Sulu and Karl Urban's McCoy in particular should have WAY more to do than they've had so far. Urban…
I genuinely miss seeing people like Christopher Lloyd and Kurtwood Smith showing up in Star Trek.
Not only did they not have a good plot, they fumbled the character stuff as well. There is absolutely no growth or progress in STID at all - when it's not ripping off TWOK shamelessly, it's just reheating all the character moments from ST09 in a shittier form. Kirk's a hothead who's not prepared! He gets busted…
Not to mention that Cumberbatch's performance had absolutely no elements of Khan in it at all. If we're going by the rules the filmmakers set themselves with the reboot and the timeline and such, Khan should still be Khan, as he was in the universe's version of the '90s and the Eugenics Wars. He should still be the…
Even more irritatingly, STID is the work of someone (Orci) who *claims* to really "get" Star Trek and be a huge fan, but while he can apparently pull out some random obscure reference as justification for his absolutely awful writing, he is utterly clueless as to the *actual* meaning of the source material.
I honestly really like TMP (in director's cut form) and TSfS, so the "odd numbers suck" thing has never held up for me.
