Mr. Terkel
Terkel was a national treasure. He will be missed.
The wringer, not the ringer
Not sure how I double-posted, since the error message indicated I hadn't successfully posted at all.
Since the "AV Club Maid Brigade" has also scrubbed comments incorporating the word "success," it's not surprise they'll scrubbed comments about Ms. Banks' bosom.
As stated
I stated in my comment on the AV Club's review of the album that this endeavor would be a success for both AC/DC and Wal-Mart, and that it would ROCK. I was right on both counts.
Mr. Phoenix
Mr. Phoenix will surely be successful in his endeavors in the realms of "music and stuff." Particulary the "stuff."
Messrs. Young
This will likely be a successful endeavor for both AC/DC and Wal-Mart. Plus, it's going to ROCK!
Messrs. Rogers & Hart (sung by Mr. Cole)
This can't be love, because I feel so well,
No sobs, no sorrows, no sighs.
This can't be love; I get no dizzy spells,
My head is not in the skies.
Ms. Winehouse
Let us hope Ms. Winehouse recovers her health and is able to successfully get her life in order.
Mr. Hewson
Certainly this will be a successful endeavor, as there are many people who will read/listen to anything Bono says.
Mr. Jigsaw
The success of the "Saw" franchise is puzzling and disturbing.
The two Ms. Olsens (is there a "Ms." equivalent of "Messrs."?)
No doubt the Olsens continued success is inevitable.
Cleo?
This endeavor is likely to be a failure of "Ishtar" proportions.
Cleo?
This endeavor is likely to be a failure of "Ishtar" proportions.
Ah, yes, bradley: Whenever you call the people in charge " suits," or call the high-ranking military officers "brass," or even if you anachronistically call a woman "a skirt," you're successfully employing synecdoche.
For example, calling a car "wheels"
So glad you succeeded in your "firstie" endeavor.
Ugh, typo. I can't imagine that Madonna's name will in any way draw an audience.
Mr. Griffith/the efficacy of celebrity endorsements
It was nice to see Mr. Griffith; he has certainly aged better that Messrs. Howard and Winkler.
