@paraclete_pizza:disqus Oh yeah, I'll freely admit that the Digimon movies looked a lot better then any of the Pokemon ones. In fact, unless I'm misremembering, the second Digimon movie ended up being the direct inspiration for Summer Wars.

Digimon had the same issue to me that Yu-Gi-Oh! would eventually get, in that it was way to convoluted and technical to me. Yes I'm sure I was just watching it wrong, but it seems like every 2 episodes or so about 10 more rules were added to whats going on and they super digivolved into spirit mode which is different…
