Yes.

Love is a pale shadow on the walls of nothing cast by the weak flickering candle of procreative instinct. ANTI-LIFE ENDURES. ANTI-LIFE IS THE ONLY TRUTH. DIE FOR DARKSEID!

For her, yeah.

Did you pick up Oh Killstrike?
Its a little too ironic for my tastes, but it's a parody of 90s Liefeld hero, with all the expected jokes about pouches & feet, and the main character is looking for closure with his Alan-Moore esque deadbeat dad.

Has anybody been picking up Weird Love? It's a reprint anthology of dated, politically incorrect and just plain bizarre Silver Age romance comics. Some of them are just funny for what they are (a couple are basically anti-Communist propaganda masquerading as a bad love story) and some are genuinely good reads (a story

You did.
She rejected you.

Your one-hand drawn (ew) self published pamphlet doesn't count.

Every time somebody mentions Jem…

After Gwen, they kinda started to borrow ideas from other comics. You've got Black Cat from Catwoman, Hammerhead from Dick Tracy, heavier focus on Archie-style romance issues and The Punisher from The Executioner novels.

And Umar.
Don't forget Umar.
(Hulk Smash! But, uh… Give hulk like 20 minutes first okay…)

Flaming Carrot, along with Concrete, Normal man and The Tick, is a character I'd like to hear from again this decade.

I considered picking up Regrettable Superheroes, but it might be kinda redundant since I already have Jess Nevins' Golden Age Encyclopedia. Detailing the most obscure and downright silly 30s & 40s heroes (did you know there were no less than 3 characters who fought crime in the guise of a classic pantomime Hobo Clown)

C'est magnifique.

They even address it in the Morrison Animal Man, where his successor drops the title and goes by 'The Beast' or 'Freedom beast'.

Did the printing of Fantastic 4 have the Doom stuff and/or The Thing's Bar Mitzvah?

Old school Defenders or the Bwa Ha Ha style mini?

Yep, that's what PAD's X-Factor did with Shatterstar.

Told by an idiot…

Yet another Magneto playing Magbeth. Although, I guess if somebody would be likely to have a dagger floating in front of him…
