THAT'S what I was confusing "MeTV" with - "MyTucsonTv"

No it's not Me-TV - Me-TV is what took over the local station that used to be the UPN.  I can't quite think of it, and it's driving me nuts!  It's all classic TV shows, seems to be mostly crime shows during the day (including Rockford Files) and sitcoms at night.

See he was billing his first appearance here as being his last tour.  Then he came back!  So who knows what he meant.  Scottsdale is only about 110 miles from Tucson, maybe the second time he didn't realize he was out of the county?

There is a station with this - from what I understand it's syndicated - it's broadcast locally on 13.2.  I can't remember what it's called - not METV, but something like that - M[something]TV.  MASH, MTM, Dick Van Dyke, Bob Newhart, Odd Couple, in that order, every night.  It's so awesome…

The title itself is no more or less alarming than "The Creeping Terror", "Creature From The Black Lagoon", or "Invasion Of The Body Snatchers".  In the late 1960s, the whole concept of truly disturbing films being shown in mainstream movie houses was still relatively new; and, as has been said before, Ebert's ire in

Re: Severinsen touring, I worked for the Tucson Symphony a couple years ago.  He performed with us and I believe it was to be his last "tour", though not the end of his performing live.  He lives in Scottsdale, and has performed in Tucson once since then, but maybe Tucson's close enough that it isn't considered

That…makes great sense, actually.  I just decided to get it for my sister for Christmas.  I think she'll like it.

(Yes, btw, colicky)

If she can keep from dying for another 40 years or so, it just might happen.

Obviously this illustrates the need to keep more people in jail longer.  Overcrowded jails?  Naaah - it's because she's a celebrity!

I went to a gay bar in Warren OH a few years ago…it was not uplifting.  In defiance of the law, they were smoking inside the bar because, I guess, getting arrested couldn't possibly make things any worse…

Or, the points.

Emily: "Well what travels in packs, then?"
Bob: "Cigarettes".

Know who wrote "What's Happening!!"'s theme?  Henry Mancini.

That's the first thing I thought when I saw the article - "Love Is All Around" better be in there

I thought you said "Those lines turn the movie on its head".  Which…they do…

"Intrigue", I think that something is, and the show pulls off that promise of intrigue in unexpected ways:
Is it…a mystery?  Rarely!  Is it…adventure?  Sort of! Is it…glamourous movie stars?  Always!  Is it…exotic locales?  Sometimes!  Is it…some kind of cheese?  Sure! And it's on RIGHT NOW!

I mentioned "The Persuaders" up above there.

It was an odd fit - like Curtis and Moore, so maybe it was intentional?  (I'm not being sarcastic, I just thought of that).  Somehow the theme's not fitting the show made the show seem more…promising, you know?  Maybe…THIS week…we'll find out what's lurking under the surface of…THE PERSUADERS.  I mean, even the title?
