I love Community, and it has always reminded me somehow of Venture Brothers.  So, cool!

Is it about time to unwrap your present?

Also, of course, Bernadette Peters would have been perfect as the fairy godmother.

I have to say, the only thing I enjoyed (before turning it off midway through) was Whitney Houston singing "Impossible".

I'm not a big Star Wars fan, and am a big puppet and Muppet fan, but I agree in this case.  The new one is an improvement.

Well, OK.

MOST egregiously, they made a point of billing it as "Rodgers and Hammerstein's CINDERELLA", then threw in a pointless rendition of "Falling In Love With Love" so Bernadette Peters would have a number.  Not only is "Falling in Love With Love" a Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart song, they changed the time signature so

Hey what about Sid Luft in "Me and My Shadows"?

The Muppet Show was definitely a highlight of my growing-up-time.  I found out years later that my sister hates the Muppets - correction, she "HA-A-A-A-ATES" the Muppets.  She said "I just never got them, and everybody thought they were SO-O-O-O-O-O FUNNY!"

"Dull and windsong"?

I'm not dying to get married or anything, but I agree.  It's pretty fucked up.

awesome, thanks, I'll have to watch it again

Time enough for life (strum strum)

Yeah - I saw it about 20 years ago and my memories are a little hazy, except for I remember Miriam Hopkins sitting on a bed, kicking her leg…hot hot stuff.

Not Roger Ebert, Swanstep, Gene Siskel. It was on both of their top 10 lists, but Siskel made it number one. Some bitches said it was proof of his impaired judgement due to the soon-to-be-fatal brain cancer he was suffering. But fuck them.

@ehn - yes. No reason to see 1 if you see 2. Even the killer reveal, which is so important to the whole - uh - mythology, is a purely perfunctory plot twist. I agree that 2 and 4 are the best.
And Freddy v Jason.

"The New Blood" was pretty dull…

I wasn't hiding.

@ get it rite - can't believe no-one's done this, but http://www.google.com/imgre…
It's probably the same thing as Diet Rite Cola, just like Coca-Cola basically admitted that Diet Coke was no different from Tab - but it does exist

I liked the Fairy Godmother in "The Slipper and The Rose". I think. I don't remember anything else - maybe I'm not even remembering her right.
