Yeah I loved that too. I loved when Santana tried to pull her down/away from the lockers. It wasn't happening.

Groupon, WTF?
My jaw definitely dropped during the Elizabeth Hurley rain forest commercial…
And Groupon got a nice email from me today.

George Lazenby didn't strongly evoke/resemble Sean Connery - whatever you might think of it, Brandon Routh's similarities to Christopher Reeve were much remarked upon at the time, even by people associated with the movie (and with Reeve).
The biggest difference of course is that OHMSS was an extremely strong entry in

"Pork Roll, Egg and Cheese" is the name of a very catchy Ween song. I had no idea it was anything else.

Aw that's too bad - honey on Chex cereal is quite tasty and not bad for you at all.

No ColJack cheese?
Michelangelo, can I ask how old you are and where you grew up? I remember Colby Jack cheese making its appearance in the late Seventies, at least in northern Illinois where we lived.

Really? The Vision was cool too. And he was married to mutant The Scarlet Witch, who I understand eventually went bat-shit.

Medusa
For awhile in the Seventies one of the four was replaced by Medusa, with the Living Hair. I don't remember which one, but I thought it was kind of cool. I'm sure someone will replace the Torch. It'd be kind of cool if it was the original Human Torch, from WWII. I believe he was an android, so…who knows.

Bucky, Joan Crawford was also known for having a large head and proportionately tiny body.

Did you ever see the Carol Burnett soap parody "As The Stomach Turns"? Harvey Korman played a neighborhood psychic or something - that's the closest I can think of.
There! http://seattletimes.nwsourc…

I don't know - going out in public as an alter ego called "Shirley" sounds kind of like performance art. My own mother's been doing it for years. Just don't call her…wait for it…"Shirt". She hates that.

John Leguizamo was really gorgeous, and more.
Wesley Snipes was scary-lookin, but fuuuunny.

Oh. Never mind.
For the record, it is spelled with an "e" in "Andy Devine".
I think.

Seriously? "Devine"? Do you kids mean John Waters' first star? "Divine"?

Barry Humphries/Dame Edna is a "pantomime dame", which is a very specific type of character that doesn't really exist in U.S. culture. He's talked about this at length in the past (though it's not really a bone of contention or anything with him).
I didn't really understand what it was until I recently watched the BBC

Betty White was there, balling Mr Grant. Finally.

That Beverly D'angelo must really like being a working actor.

A hat! A brooch, a pterodactyl!

I. Am going to watch this.

-Insert Mr Grant where?-
