That movie wasn't bad at all, and Sigourney Weaver was terrific. As always. Laser Cats!

Ah the Muppet movies
I liked them all but the one with Gonzo finding out his origin. For some reason, it just wasn't funny at all, though I didn't hate it. It seemed somehow phony, but I don't know why. I didn't like Muppets Take Manhattan when it first came out, but I watched it again a couple years ago and liked

Haha Southofheaven - I loved that movie, and loved that vampire show at the end.

@Tzars - not sure if that's a genuine query, but I have to respond with "Well, it's not quite a mop, and it's not quite a puppet, but hahahahahahahahahaha. I have no idea".

I love this movie
I know it's not perfect, but that scene where he's comforting his mum…awesome.

Nothing like a mouthful of popcorn and Red-Hots.

I love Sara Gilbert but she was pretty bad for the first couple of seasons, until they really started writing for her. Even in the opening credits for the early seasons, without any dialogue, you're like - wow, she's awful. But she's pretty awesome overall.

I forgot about the Halloween episodes. I loved that show. Maybe it didn't get its "due" but it did feature in John Updike's novel "Rabbit at Rest". Rabbit liked it. That's a special kind of immortality, you know?

OK c.

Oh Warren…that was so hilarious. "Maybe you could…break his arms a little"

Camille
Oh my how could I have forgotten Greta Garbo in Camille, one of the most famous death scenes ever. I saw it in a revival house. I knew there's a death at the end, but was unprepared for how devastatingly underplayed it is. And then BAM it was just over. I couldn't leave my seat for at least 5 minutes (I

Southern frat boy
There's a lot of talk here about "You Never Even Called Me" being a song for Southern frat boys, and maybe that's true, though I've never been either. However, if I remember from an old Alanna Nash interview with DAC, he grew up Mormon, in Utah. He was a proponent of polygamy, and was obsessed with

I understand actually working at a karaoke bar will destroy its appeal. I've definitely known more than one karaoke dj who had obviously been doing it too long. You can tell when they make fun of the singers, into the mike. One changed the key on a song WHILE I was singing.

Oh good I'm not the only one. I sang it at karaoke years ago. I wasn't drunk, but realized as soon as it started that the only words I knew were to the last verse, and I didn't have my glasses on so I couldn't see the screen. Fortunately I had a tolerant friend who discreetly whispered the words into my ear and got

OK MORE SPECULATION on my part, ok? Just for fun. The country music scene in "Nashville" does work as, among other things, an alternate universe of the country music scene at the time. Kind of like Earth 2 in DC comics.

I love CS Lewis in general but won't ever read that mean-spirited book again. I don't care if the bear DID come back. He didn't understand…and that sucks.

Terms of Endearment I cried at and still do. More for how the mother reacts to it - she hugs her hated son-in-law, and she thought it was going to be easy.

"Time. To die."

Also when Elaina Markway dies in the 1978 TV movie pilot for "The Incredible Hulk". Anyone? Anyone? Nah.

Oh well if you're gonna pull out "The Elephant Man"…all bets are off.
