Like a lot of people
Wes Craven's New Nightmare is one of my favorite movies. Creepy as heck, and no jokes! I was never a fan of the Nightmare movies, but New Nightmare was intelligent. And awesome.
Yes she was wearing a bump. Finally.
Yes I'd be really happy with more Jane Lynch, and she was really well-used tonight.
Lol I thought Mercedes' seeing her friends as food was from the old cartoons where a starving character looked at people and saw food.
Having been in high school choir, at a couple of different high schools, I can tell you you NEVER rehearse in the auditorium. There's no reason to. Actually both of the schools I went to the drama dept controlled the auditorium.
We had a swingin' jazz band when I was in high school. I heard them rehearse the theme from "The Bob Newhart Show" once.
Uh sorry…I should have read the whole thread before I posted.
Seriously? About twenty minutes into the Shuester/April duet I said to my Glee buddy "Oh my gosh, this episode is so sad!" Then I noticed that characters were crying ALL the way through it.
Really? That was one of my favorite scenes - it seemed very natural, that Quinn would be using her experience to help someone else. I was all "Good for her!"
Oh that's right! Immediately I was like - who is that guy? He did look like LeVar Burton but he wasn't LeVar Burton. he also reminded me that big eyes which are very widely spaced totally creep me out. Totally.
OK, the voice I hear in my head singing "One Less Bell to Answer/A House is Not a Home" is Marilyn McCoo. Am I totally imagining it? I know Barbra Streisand sang it.
Heh yes I can see it. I'm not sure she's quite in Gielgud's league, though I have a feeling she is. She could pull it off. She'd never have the surprise appeal that John Gielgud had for most moviegoers though - "Who IS this guy!"
Actually I can't imagine why I'd watch this - the original is one of my all-time favorites. BUT - Liza Minnelli as Linda Marolla's MOTHER - that could sure be ok.
Well as puns go it's kind of pointless, but I did like that name also.
What about Stephanie Broadchest? LOL - I thought that was pretty funny in Casino Royale.
Oh, are we talking best Bond women names, or the characters themselves. I hope I was clear I didn't like Tiffany Case's character at all, just the name.
Name-wise I actually like Tiffany Case, though the movie was…sleazy? Cheap-looking? Seedy? "Tiffany Case" is a classy-sounding name - too bad about the introduction of American Bond women, with Jill St. John. Almost to a one, I think they've been the worst.
"The World is Not Enough" is a good'un too. But M would never be trapped like that…that really bothered me. As did Mrs. Sheen's grunting/squeaking "I'm a physicist!"
Oh tabernacle, well done, well done. Though it also could have done with an "…as the actress said to the archbishop!"
