Jauren Grahamm?

I think I'm going to try to finally re-watch S7 when these reviews get there.  And then probably never again.

I like Sims just fine, but maybe Erik Adams would be better suited to this.  Based on his work reviewing Bunheads, he strikes me as someone who gets the ASP oeuvre.

Yeah, and it may not be great, but you kind of don't get to "Dear Richard and Emily . . ." without some sort of check-in with the whole Sherry debacle.  I don't like "Take the Deviled Eggs" overmuch, but I respect its right to exist, as it were, and it actually matters a bit in the grand scheme of things.

This.  Definitely "Magpie to the Morning."  For me, it's her most expressive song, such a range of emotional impressions.  Going from delicate to sheer, overwhelming power, until finally subsiding from the last crescendo.  Absolutely brilliant and timeless.

They already made that, didn't they?  I think it was called (wait for it) . . . Philly.  Starred the other Delaney woman (not Dana— the one that was on NYPD Blue for a while).

No— Matt is actually a good quarterback.

The New Pornographers, and by extension, Neko Case.

If you still haven't seen the back end, and can find some way to get the episodes, I'd recommend getting right on that.  I feel like it just has a bit more energy (plus Liza Weill!) than the first run of episodes.  The actors have a better grasp on their characters, and in particular ASP seems to have figured out what

Oh, I like the episodes you mentioned, but the Luke-Lorelai temporary breakup feels a bit contrived.  But you're right— it doesn't really go off the rails until TLaLD.

I discovered the quality of that S4 run on a recent re-watch (which has bogged down in mid season six.  Hell, I've watched all of Bunheads twice since I "paused" in my re- watch of GG).  I hadn't actually seen a lot of the late S4/early S5 episodes because the first half of S4 made me temporarily give up on the show

5 and 7/22 seasons (for my money) to be exact.

Eh, I like "Prime Mover."

Chief!

"We've Got Magic to Do!"

Wheee!

Or a showing of Berlin Alexanderplatz, accompanied by a marathon.  Or several marathons, over the course of a few days . . .

Now sing "Fair Harvard!"

Only if you want to see Tony Hale in something funny this year, apparently.
