Given what I'm sure everyone had and has come to expect from TZ, I enjoyed having a twist ending essentially be "nah, this was all bullshit. You believed all that spooky supernatural mumbo jumbo? Well the joke's on you buddy."

What we really need is a long awkward conversation between the teen actor talking about the dope internet and the Bill Gates impersonator.

Yeah, It seemed metalhead actually fit the clue better than headbanger. I was surprised they didn't take it.

I decided I couldn't in good conscience root for any of them in the next round after the stand'n'stare for Futurama.

It's still fairly mediocre imo.

I had a vision of a future scene.

I'm curious about calling The 100 the "most compelling science fiction currently on television." Is this because:
1) AV Club genuinely considers it better than Person of Interest
2) PoI isn't considered science fiction for some reason, or
3) they just forgot about PoI completely.

I agree, it appears the astrophysicist made a math error when trying to subtract 10,300 from 13,400.

Neither Jeff or Winston's FJ wagers made any sense whatsoever to me. I mean that in and of itself is not surprising on Jeopardy but in Jeff's case I thought surely a damn astrophysicist at least would have a mastery of Jeopardy-level math.

The category maybe. I'd say most of Galileo's most lasting science contributions were in the 17th century, not the 16th.

Harmon's completely reasonable actions following his "encounter" with mom really just served to make Molly look incompetent. It's quite obviously not actually that person who died decades ago materialized on your solo space mission and repeating words you say creepily. You don't just float there and let it make out

I agree on all 3 wagers. I guess Ed's was the least egregious. He failed to maximize the potential of that DD (like so many do) but at least was in a decent situation still afterwards.

Yeah, I understand how her situation was different Friday than Thursday, but I'm just not convinced Ben-Hur was thinking that deeply (even assuming he saw Jen's earlier games, which I'm not sure he would have anyways).

Look at those mental institution workers, getting off on being withholding!

One of my answers was literally "oh, who is… that woman they talked about on Drunk History last week!"

I personally threw out "great" as my guess, and yes it was an adjective at random.

I'm skeptical about Ben-Hur's thought process behind his wager. I think it may have been a case of round number syndrome. I mean he left himself open to a big bet from a librarian in a literary category. If his thought process was as you said, it's pretty gutsy. Also, it's a Monday show, are we sure he saw Jen's

I feel like they'd ask who was calling.

I once identified this episode (Night Call) from another room based solely on the ringing of the telephone. I hadn't seen it in at least a few years and didn't even know Twilight Zone was on in the other room (was at a family reunion), but heard that loud, clear phone ringing and it took me right back to this episode.

But how will Scott manage to juggle work and family?
