Damn straight. If they'd cut that song - which absolutely does not fit with the rest of the album anyway - it'd be a much better listen. Because otherwise Think Tank is a lovely, lowkey, London-In-The-Early-21st-Century album.

The Great Escape suffers because of the public perception of the band at the time - that they were the art-school ponces compared to Oasis. They didn't help in some ways (take another look at the Country House video & try to avoid wanting to punch at least half the band in the face).

Oh, I see that difference. It's just that 3 out of 8 episodes now have 'Adam compares himself to another vicar, comes up short in some way, acts petulant but then feels better by the end of the episode' as the plot.

I agree - this one fell a bit flat for me too. Mostly because it seemed cobbled together from a few episodes from series one - this is the eighth episode, but now the third to deal with Adam confronting that there are other Revs better/more popular than him (the young, charistmatic guy; his old friend the media star;
