I find her more as a distant, weird cousin to Kate Bush. Listen to her Actor or Marry Me albums there's less of that avant-garde electro sound, and more smoothly arranged tracks.

This was the coolest music performance this season, I even take that over Arcade Fire.

Not saying that my kid will be affected. But indeed, exposure to the newscasts today (and over the past few decades) on gun violence and gun control have made these gags less funny to me then had previously been.

I'm training my kid…whenver I see the real=life equivalent of the now-dated reference in a Looney Tunes cartoon (the Marx Brothers, Danny Kaye, Mickey Rooney, whatever) I'm always pointing it out to him. He had his first pop culture meta-humor laugh when he recognized Baloney The Dinosaur on Animaniacs as a parody of
