Man, would I love to see an Agents of Atlas series. That, or Two-Gun Kid. (The latter is probably the more likely, I admit.)

For more flashbacks, may I suggest you go to Amazon and search the words "misfits of science oral history." Just saying…

NBC has no one to blame but themselves. If they'd just put an ad in AARP Magazine saying, "Sam Elliott is going to be on Parks and Recreation," you know damned well that every single one of our mothers (and probably at least half of our grandmothers) would have tuned in.

Well, yeah, but that hasn't changed her relatability for me. It's just something that I was aware of. But my only real point was that you said she was unrelatable to you as a middle class working mom, and I was saying that my wife, who's in the same ballpark, hadn't had any such issues.

"The Potato" episode wasn't a B-grade at all, if anything I would give it a C-.

Actually, it wasn't a letter. We chatted on the phone last night. I just left out the bits where I asked questions, because it holds together really, really well without them. Otherwise, though, that's word for word as he delivered it. Because Nick Offerman is awesome. Obviously.

Check out the link I posted after the firstie.

No, but - ahem - there is a separate piece on his pilot for Evel Knievel. You should probably give it a read…and a listen.

Are you saying this is why you're feeling fine? Well, well, well…

We're all missing the bigger picture here: will there be a Doris Roberts guest-star appearance?

@avclub-991c1161618c95bc94d3e7508c0a3d30:disqus Hand on heart, the only reason I know this exists is because I'm the one who wrote the Corner Gas entry and it came up when I Googled "Wullerton," but…behold:

"Thousands Are Sailing" was the first Philip Chevron song I ever heard, but it's listening to "Lorelei" just now that's made me tear up. R.I.P.

But, you know, I have sat in on many, and it still surprises me. I guess some folks figure that no one cares about anything beyond what's now, what's next, and whatever the most popular project in the past may have been. But I feel like this feature proves that premise wrong every time a new installment arrives…and,

On one hand, that would seem to have been a role that didn't need to be asked about - I mean, there's not even so much as a clip of it on YouTube - and yet the name of the character just screamed "Random Roles." What a happy coincidence that it turned out to be not only a role he enjoyed but also a film on which he

The Silent Partner was definitely on my list, and I had pointedly included it pretty high up in order to make up for not getting to it w/ Mr. Gould, but when the, uh, Ghost of Christmas Past arrived to say "last question," Plummer was cool enough to actually give me two more, but I'd already had The Man Who Would Be

I'm sure this will be a given, but just so it's out there early, I only had 15 minutes with the man, and everyone including me was always going to be disappointed with what I didn't get to ask him about.

No, I talked to Frears and he said that it was always structured without Ali actually being a proper character. But having said that, he admitted that it was "a great relief" not to have to try and cast someone to play Ali.
