@avclub-85ef8e895264ae2dcab7bcd0f04d9bea:disqus Maybe I should try again, then. He was in the midst of promoting a very specific film at the time, so he may have felt obliged to stay as on-topic as possible.

I think I've mentioned this before when the thread came up, but I actually sat down w/ James Hong awhile back, when he was appearing at the TCA press tour, and I *tried* to do a Random Roles with him, but the problem is that he just doesn't really have a huge amount to say about a lot of his roles.

An artist's artist, to be sure, but I'll remember him as much for his videos as for his album covers.

I admit we didn't get to And the Band Played On, but just in case you missed that page (since there are three on this bad boy), I did indeed ask him about Zodiac, at least.

I defy you to find any teenage boy who filed a lawsuit over the matter.

I'm going to have to give some love to The Woman in Red, particularly the bit where the woman in question is wearing precisely no red at all on any of her frontal regions. Whew…

I think it's because I was at the happiest point in my life when it was released and was able to bask in the incredible bleakness of it rather than be thoroughly bummed out by it, but I'm really, really partial to Bloodflowers. "Watching Me Fall" may not match the brilliance of "Disintegration," but even at 11

Oh, please tell me you asked about Watch It, or I may cry…

Another nice one, Mr. Rabin. I only wish you would've asked about Wonderland, the short-lived TV series from 2000 that he did for Peter Berg: http://en.wikipedia.org/wik…

Dear God, please let it be true that his last film really is one called Big Finish.

"Now, look, let's be sensible about this thing. There's
money in this for all of us. Right? There's enough for you, there's
enough for you, and for me, and for you, and there's enough for.."

He was on my short list of living legends who I desperately wanted to interview, and I'm incredibly sad that I'll never have the chance. R.I.P., Mr. Winters. You were hilarious.

Patrick Duffy: he's old, he's tired, his wife left him, his friends all stopped calling, but…

Oh, believe me, as an older brother, I've been down the "little sister hangs out with your friends" trail of weirdness, so I do sympathize with Axl on that front, and it's why I also have that hopeful confidence that he'll come around in the end.

Like @avclub-87caf7c42aedbada42572e2374eed08d:disqus, I'd be beyond surprised if it didn't get renewed…especially if, as Neil Flynn indicated during our conversation, it truly is ABC's second most popular comedy after Modern Family.

That's kind of what I'm thinking, or perhaps hoping, is going to take place. It's clear that Axl walked away from his battle with Darrin with at least a small epiphany: the way that he's always treated Sue is going to have to change at least somewhat. I feel like he looked at least slightly taken aback when she told

You know, in looking up the credits of the series - I don't know if your dream will come true or not, @avclub-ad45e11f2e88b8963920c79cd1d8755e:disqus, but I'm certainly considering it, though whether it'll be for here or elsewhere remains to be seen - I couldn't help but notice that one of the associate producers,

Admittedly, it's a relative thing, but during the New Scooby-Doo Movies phase of the series, it was - at least for me - about as cool as TV got. The whole idea of blending both reality and other pop-culture universes was the height of awesome.

Hey, all I can tell you is that I checked w/ Warner Brothers before I wrote the piece, and they said it wasn't officially the series finale. But I think we all know that it was. Sigh…

Try this Rob Schneider interview, too:
