She was awesome. We actually did the interview in two sessions because she'd promised her kids that she'd be at their gymnastics meet, but, as happens with so many of these conversations, she was clearly thrilled to be able to talk about projects that she's rarely - if ever - asked about.

Your mileage may vary (I know a lot of people don't love it), but once you get past the fourth episode, which is my least favorite of the season, Magic City really finds its groove and gets on a roll that lasts through the season finale.
