I've seen the pilot and thought Hayden was great in it, too…and this is coming from someone who really, really doesn't like her. Of course, I'm guessing she nails the role because she's playing a character who, at least in the pilot, is incredibly easy to dislike.

Good call on The Commitments. I love that movie so much that I've got a poster for it on the wall of my office. And for what it's worth, I saw it at our local art-house theater, so I've always thought of it as more art-house than not, no matter how many copies of the soundtrack may have been sold.
