When I was in LA for the TCA tour, I asked Kyle MacLachlan about Showgirls for an upcoming Random Roles. I can't do justice in print to what it was like to watch his expression as he pretended to re-live the experience of watching his first screening of the film. I can only say that it was awesome.

Jesus, I was literally standing next to the guy that wrote this story when Daniels offered this non-newsbyte at the TCA tour. If I'd had any idea it'd get any mileage, I would've written it myself. Also, I would've consistently spelled "Carrey" with two R's in my version.
